The Knights Vulpus are a Codex-divergent 23rd 'Sentinel' Founding White Scars descended chapter. Hailing from the feudal world of Rokan, these marines pride themselves as expert marksmen. They specialize in the targeting of enemy supply lines and deploy a greater amount of Marines with Phobos pattern armor than the Codex Astartes recommends. Unlike many other space marine chapters, they train their marines from birth. With all male babies born within the city of Var Hos being given directly to the chapter, and all the girls to the Sororitas.

Organization[]

The Knights Vulpus follow the Codex Astartes but view it as more of a guideline to how a chapter should be organized. Company composition is standard, with the exception to the Honor Company, which is commanded by the Chapter Master himself personally.

Homeworld[]

The world of Rokan is a feudal world composed of vast forests and grasslands. The native Rokani follow a pantheist version of the Imperial cult, with the loyal primarchs serving as deities, and the Emperor himself the chief god of the pantheon.

The population of the world are separated into a class system. Imperial Officials being at the top, followed by Feudal Nobility, Land Owners, and Serfs. While the Serfs serve as laborers they are given the opportunity to leave their life of servitude by going to the city of Var Hos and participating in a gladiator tournament. The victors are allowed entrance into the city where they are promised the life of kings.

In truth, Var Hos is no better than any other hive city. Overpopulated with a warrior class, the only thing keeping them in line being the PDF, and the Sororitas. Ancient law dictates any child within the city be sent to the Space Marine Chapter or the local Sororitas temple for training.

This is entirely by design, as the coliseum brings forward only the most potent of warrior genetics into the city, which makes any child born within prime candidates for Space Marine or Sororitas training due to both of their parents having warrior genes.

If the Knights Vulpus does not have enough geneseed or no open spaces for recruitment at the time, then the male child is sent to become a Chapter Serf instead.
