Florianus Buhoveckey is a Bound Psyker, and former leader of a prominent chaos cult within the Sephadollion Sector that originated upon Estomor. Currently in the service of Lady Inquisitor Jacki Vulsen and, by extension, the Tenebarite Cabal.

History

Early Life

Florianus has revealed little of his past beyond that he was a righteous devotee of the God-Emperor of Mankind who was cruelly tricked into the service of the Dark Gods by a false prophet who claimed his talents were a gift from these beings.

Sephadollion Incident

After untold years in the apparently unwilling service to the Cult, he came to lead them after the previous leader had been apprehended by the Imperial authorities. Years later, the Adeptus Arbites intervened on a much larger scale as the full extent of Florianus' influence became apparent.

Redemption

Florianus' cult burned to ashes after the arrival of an Inquisitor upon the battlefield. In the wake of it's destruction the man proclaimed himself guilty in the eyes of the God-Emperor and declared that he was truly repentant for his sins.

Tenebarite Cabal Service

The bound psyker was brought to serve the Tenebarite Cabal by the will of his mistress who was appointed the de facto leader of the group as the threat of the Vitores Tenebras became apparent.

Appearance

Buhoveckey has a lithe, wiry build due to his prolonged states of fasting. His white hair has been clean shaven as a mark of piety and his body is marked by lines of scripture that have been intricately tattooed into the skin. He is frequently bequeathed a mask inscribed with the Inquisitorial Rosette while his form is often adorned with countless parchments that proclaim litanies of purity and sanctity. On occasion he is secured more thoroughly should his retainer deem him a potential risk if left unbound.

Personality

Flrorianus is reticent and composed at all times. Even when engaged upon the battlefield as a living psychic lightning rod, he remains deathly calm and content in a manner that has come to unnerve other members of the Cabal. His mistress has considered it a sign of the deep meditation he often subjects himself to in penance for his crimes.

Jacki Vulsen

Florianus is little more than disposable property to his mistress as his primary purpose is to shield her from psychic assault and retaliate in kind upon any would-be aggressors.
