The Ixaniad Sector is part of the dense cluster of star systems far to the Galactic West in the Segmentum Obscurba. It borders the Calixis Sector and the Halo Stars.
The opening of the Cicatrix Maledictum rift sundered a significant chunk of the sector from the light of the Astronomicon in wake of the expansion of the Eye of Terror and warp travel remain dangerous to this day.
Home to dynastic ruled worlds which engage in conflict and strife and pockets of xenos empires and fleeing heretics from the Calixis sector; the scattering of Forge Worlds, Space Marine chapters and the inquisitors of the Ixaniad Conclave have their work cut out for them in this lawless region of space.
